This series is created with radioactive material, photographic negatives, and written mathematical proof on transparency. Inspired by concrete photography and concrete poetry. The mathematical writing is a proof, completed by the artist, for the existence and uniqueness of the inverse value function in multiple complex variables. The proof was left as an exercise in Henri Cartan’s Elementary Theory of Analytic Functions of One or Several Complex Variables.
